Q: I suffer from episodic cluster migraines. After a few chiropractic sessions, I feel relief. Could the pressure on spinal nerves have caused my headaches?
A: Cluster headaches usually occur episodically during a two- to 10-week cycle. Cluster headaches are caused by an abnormality within the brainstem or hypothalamic region. A cervical (neck) problem cannot cause cluster headaches. Your cervical X-ray findings are likely a “normal” variant and have no clinical significance.
