Lower Your Stress Levels

lower stress for heart health
When your stress levels go up, so does your risk of heart disease. Though the relationship isn't yet clear, studies are showing a definite connection between heart disease risk and stress. For a strong heart, find effective and healthy ways to alleviate stress. Regular exercise will help prevent heart disease (and promote weight management, too), as can learning relaxation techniques. Turning to alcohol or abusing other substances, legal or not, will only add to problems. Having a good laugh, venting, or even giving into a crying session with a close friend or loved one can release tensions and help to build a healthy heart.
